Lost and Found

I was scrolling through my Favorites list when I found this blog. The blog started in July 2012 and the last post is dated June 2014. I have completely forgotten about its existence.

Guess I will be dropping by whenever I have time. So much have changed as I read the old entries.

OCBC 360 Account
I'm still using this account. They have recently revised their interest rate effective on 1 November 2018. I'm actually earning lesser interest after the revision but I still sticking to this. Save the hassle of closing and opening new account.

They have offered an additional interest 0.5% to 2% for next $35k for a limited period 1 December 2018 to 31 March 2019.

DBS Multiplier Account

I will recommend this account to anyone who wants to earn higher interest. Their criteria are fairly easy to meet. Minimally just get a combine total of $2k for credit salary + credit card spending of at least $1 to enjoy 1.55%. If you are holding Singapore Savings Bond, the credit of interest will qualify for the investment category.

OCBC 360 deposit account

Not sure whether you have heard of this product but OCBC has been aggressively marketing it for some time. My payroll colleague has also commented that there are many staffs changing their salary crediting account.

I'm quite hesitant to open another account as I actually hold a number of bank accounts. However, the interest rates are too tempting for me to resist. It's even better than the promotional fixed deposit rate 1.38% offered by POSB during the Labour day public holiday.

Do take note that the account fee applies if you do not maintain the minimum monthly balance from second year onwards.

Batam trip to Mega Mall

I purchased Wave Master 2-way ferry ticket from Deal online at $38 as Zn has not been to Batam before. Redemption of the ferry tickets was done at Deal Redemption Centre at 1 North Bridge Road. And booking of ferry timing is through email. For ferry terminals, we choose to depart from Harbour Front to Batam Centre which is linked to Mega Mall by an overhead bridge on 17 May'14.

Ferry was delayed by 20min, ferry journey about an hour and clearing custom at Batam took another 30min. We had lunch at A&W but was too hungry to take pictures. haha

Hypermart is the must go place if you go Batam. Some of their brands you won't be able to find in Singapore and prices are cheaper there, examples like instant noodles, cup noodles and my favorite potato chips (Chitato).

We decided to have our early dinner at Black Canyon Coffee. Pricing wise is quite cheap. Food is acceptable but we ordered too many fried items.

It's been quite some time since I last update... And I'm buying more and more online so this gonna be a long post...

Yadah Cleansing Nose Pack - prefer [The Face Shop] Aloe Nose Strip which get rid of more dirt

Street shopper bag - not of good quality, handle tear after one use

Underwear pouch - good protection and big enough to keep 5-6 bras but quite bulky

Detox Fiber Plum - dun like the taste, tried 2 so far not much effect

[Skin Watchers] Papaya Peeling Gel (Exfoliant) - face feels smoother after exfoliating, no irritation for my sensitive skin

[3W Clinic] snail hand cream + Auto Eyeliner Pencil(BROWN) + eye mask given free - hand cream absorbs into skin easily and not oily / eyeliner's ink is quite faint

Burts Bee Lip Balm (Eucalyptus) - very soothing but not moisturising enough, still prefers Acai Berry bought previously

Magic Hair Fringe Velcro Pad - size slightly smaller than those selling outside so doesn't hold hair in place well

Foldable Holder Smart Stand Cradle - able to hold my 7" tablet for watching drama

Screen Protector HTC One Diamond + HTC One M7 0.5mm PC Case Ultra Slim Matte - both items fit my hp perfectly but very slippery hold that cause me to drop my hp many times especially the matte one
